After working in the catering and hospitality industry for the past 22 years working for Michelin restaurants to high volume gastro pubs and style bars. James decided to start his own business working along side the Arts charity Kala Sangam
The ethos of fresh food and amazing service are key to the fundamentals to The Rooftop Cafes goals.
Matthew Hillam
Lead Chef
Matthew has been the back bone to many business's in the West Yorkshire area.
He thrives off the busy and fast paced kitchen environment leading and support new chefs to the industry.
A chef will true talent of teaching and quality.
Matthew has been pivotal to the many business growth both with James (owner) & other outlets.
He has a passion for real ales and the creative twists that this can bring to his food and style.
Sarah Burgan
Front of house lead
Sarah joined The Rooftop Cafe when it was formed in October 2017.
She strives for quality and customer service in the cafe and conferencing on a day to day basis.
Sarah has excellent delivery and customer service skill to satisfy any customer need which runs through her past career in the service sector.
She is the YES lady nothing ever to much trouble!
